"5 Things I like about Feminism"

I can't pass this one up having been a Womens Studies major and all:

1. My daughters can play sports instead of being cheerleaders. Go title 9!

2. NO MORE PANTY HOSE. Bra burning was nothing! All hail the feminists and praise them mightily. Do you remember? Do you have mothers or grand mothers who still wear them always? I was just a 1/2 generation away from girls who had to wear dresses to school (with panty hose of course). If you could see your legs, you had to wear panty hose - gross!

3. Now that we are our own recognized consumer group, studies, and all the things that go with that. (The medical profession used to think women threw off the results, so they didn't bother researching them.)

4. Psychology - at least the REALLY ridiculous biases are gone. (Hysteria, Humunculus's, Penis Envy, etc.)

5. Not being considered property has to be in the top 10! I'm forgetting the obvious ones here.

6. GI Jane - I love that movie, I can't help it.
