I find that hard to believe...this quarter is flying by. And of those 17, I think my poor oldest child is taking a CSAP 12 of those assorted days (or so it seems)
We are in the middle of CSAPS. They kick my kid out of the classroom while the NT's take it, we start an hour late, which him right into lunch. Back after lunch for more test. Oh, and when he's done, he gets to finish the one from the morning, that he barely finishes before running to the bus.
Maybe I should just stick with "don't get me started" because - I'm just getting started!
SIS...hahaha, no, don't feel too blond (and btw, both martha and colleen are blond too so you'd fit right in)..it's 17 more days until spring break..colleen is our official countdown expert.
CSAPs are specific to Colorado (thus the C) but every state has a similar test...mandated by the feds as a way to determine what our kids know/don't know. But like most federal mandates...well, suffice to say that Big Government doesn't need to be telling our teachers how to teach, what to teach and when to test. Now, I'll step off the soapbox and return ya'll to your regular bloggin'!

oh and CSAPS are our nationwide (or is it state?) testing stuff to see if our kids fit into some arbitrary government based educational mold...

Don't worry Danielle, I wasn't sure of what 17 meant either. I just did some assuming. So thank you Tracey for clarifying.
