I am to have breast cancer surgery on May 28th. My tests show it to be a slow growing,Type One, with risk of recurrence showing negative. If you must get it -- this is the kind to have. I still need your prayers and good thoughts., Don't skip your mammograms!

Ah, my mother. Short, to the point, no need to make a fuss.
So, May 28th until June 8th you can find me at my parents house. I would take off longer, but I figure she'll kick me out by that time. We've been talking about shopping for a computer for her, and I'm hoping to borrow a laptop from work so she can play with it and get hooked. Maybe I should buy her a webkinz, so she can play cashcow - she'll be an addict in no time!
Heck, get her a blog and a digital camera - she will be positively reborn!

Aw Colleen...while I love what the pink ribbon symbolizes, it sucks that your mom has to face this battle. Call if you need anything, ok? I've still got butter braids...
