MOTHER DUCK!!!

tee hee hee - that's what I heard C yelling tonight.
I went in to check out the sitch, and found them playing with the whole
mother ducking, rubber duck clan
in the bath tub.
I just thought I'd take a little study break and share that.

9 more days! Can I make it?
Sewing class, visit with Chelsea, sleep, movies, tv programs, sleep. Visit Doug and Annie, take Yurt measurements, Bon bons, scrapbooking, heck I'll even look forward to cleaning! if you could just help me get through the next 9 days.

Come on everyone! Chant with me! Momma needs a Monday snowday! 10 inches for 10 more days, oh the poetic beauty would be enough to make me weep tears of joy.

Sorry if I'm ignoring you, my fellow bloggers! I haven't had time to do my own much less keep up with everyone else's. I swear I'll catch up if I could just have a SNOW DAY!! Why live in Colorado if you can't have a few a year?

Too bad it's wordless wednesday, because I want to whine about how tired I am, how much work that class was and how I so totally ROCK!

The count-down to spring break.

and "Baby Abi" turns 6!

Heavy sigh. I'm gonna be needing another puppy. . . soon!

If Public Education were Football. . .

1. All teams must make the state playoffs.

• All teams MUST win the championship.
• If a team does not win the championship, they will be on probation until they are the champions, and coaches will be held accountable.
• If after two years they have not won the championship, their footballs and equipment will be taken away UNTIL they do win the championship.

2. All kids will be expected to have the same football skills.

• NO exceptions will be made for lack of interest in football, desire to perform athletically, genetic abilities or disabilities of themselves or their parents.
• ALL KIDS WILL PLAY FOOTBALL AT A PROFICIENT LEVEL!
• Talented players will be asked to workout on their own, without instruction.. This is because the coaches will be using all their instructional time with the athletes who aren't interested in football, have limited athletic ability or whose parents don't like football.

3. Games will be played year round, but statistics will only be kept in the 4th, 8th, and 11th games.

• This will create a New Age of Sports where every team will reach for the same minimum goal, and all teams will be champions.
• If no one gets ahead, then no child gets left behind!
