Ah, my first 3 week break from my new Teachers Aid job! Day 3. The girls are off too. We slept in, went swimming yesterday, having the old play group over for lunch and a trip to a local fire station this afternoon. Abi had her 4 year old check - she's in the 97% for height and weight - another top/back row class photo kid.  Posted by Picasa

M&D, N&P,
Hey Mom, look at that tall lady - Mrs. Greer. (She looks like you!) She's got a cute little southern accent though. And if you'll look in the back row, center - tall - girl - spot (that I always used to occupy) would be CAITY! Surrounded by, I believe, her 3 best boyfriends Jake, Andrew and Kevin (Andrew invited her to his boy birthday party, and Kevin gave her and only her a Christmas present!) So cute. Jake of course is her best buddy and the brother she doesn't have, (not counting Nick, her imaginary brother). Did I tell you how she's going by the name "City" now? Yep, she has her karate teachers calling her that. The instructor told her if she kept doing such a great job he'd call her whatever she wants! I'm hoping it's a phase, and no, I have no idea where she got it. night night

Last night, I was chatting with Caitlin as I was getting ready to go out. It was pretty unusual for me to have hot rollers in my hair, so l askee her, "how do I look?" Hmm, she says. Long pause, "Well, you don't look like a fancy magical pony." - I decided to just laugh, and not think in terms of was that, or was that not, a compliment! Posted by Picasa

Oh, I should have taken black mail pictures. Bunko party was a huge success, a good time was had by all, and the baileys was gone 10 minutes after someone opened it! Caitlin rolled my one and only Bunko of the evening, and I won most wins!! I think I'll give C. a cut - or would that be encouraging some gambling addition she could blame on me later in life? Oh, being a mom. . .  Posted by Picasa

BUNKO party tomorrow night! I'm staying up making brownies and rice for my terriaki chicken salad tomorrow. They were pestering me to make something Irish, but, as a tribute to myself, who is almost half, well, close enough, - I'm just making all my favorite stuff. Go to bed! No wonder your always tired! Listen to your mother!
