Good Morning Kansas City

So, mystery solved.
The reason I couldn't get on to my blog was because . . . I changed the password so I'd be sure to know what it was while on vacation using someone Else's PC.
The only catch would be needing to remember that you did it.
Tell me that isn't just a getting old thing!!

I should b taking pictures or something since I have my technical problems fixed.

We are staying with Kevin's brother, and the little girls are getting along famously. More later.

Love That Book

Love That Dog. It's a kids book, and it makes me happy.

2 sticks of butter, a roll of bubble gum tape and the shavings from the pencil sharpener. . .

What can you make with 2 sticks of butter, a roll of bubble gum tape and the shavings from the pencil sharpener?

Dinner for Lilly.

I love her dearly, but she's really pissing me off lately. The 5a.m. barking to wake me up to feed her, just isn't that cute anymore. Maybe I'll find the butter later, buried in one of the planters. . . Her only redeeming quality right now is that she has a cast iron stomach.

Only 5 more days of school. It was a fun weekend with a FAC BBQ, TZ's 40th Ladies Only party, and Kevin's pick of itinerary for fathers day. We just got home from fish tacos at Southlands - where the girls actually tried all sorts of weird things (for Daddy-O).

Night night!

Un - Freakin - Believable

So, I only have 2 weeks left until my summer break from work/school and school/school - and I must say, how in the hell have I been able to keep this up for so long!?!

I will have 5 classes down - I think I've actually made a dent!

That is IF I can get through the next two weeks. So with that in mind, all I have to say tonight, is :

First Camping trip of the year

But, if you don't have pictures to prove it, did it really happen? Fortunately I found my camera toward the end of the weekend away and caught the girls on their way to the bathroom. The real news was that the BROWNIES had their first troop camp-out. Marcie and I are so glad it's over for the year, the weather was beautiful, and . . . it's over! I'll swipe some of her pictures soon.

Now, 2 more weeks, which means 10 more days of school until summer! Geez, I'd better get to bed.

How about "Somebody Elses Words Wednesday"

Did you ever notice on Google, they have a little graphic theme most days? They don't say why the hot air balloon was on there today, but I remember drawing this exact balloon in Junior High. WoW! I sound like an OLD person! Back when I had to chizel my own pencils out of twigs.

Good morning everyone!

19th of September 1783 Pilatre De Rozier, a scientist, launched the first hot air balloon called 'Aerostat Reveillon'. The passengers were a sheep, a duck and a rooster and the balloon stayed in the air for a grand total of 15 minutes before crashing back to the ground.. . (I don't think that's the one in the picture. I believe, but don't really know that this was the balloon from the World fair in Paris - ooh, I should look that up!!)

2 French brothers, Joseph and Etienne Montgolfier. The balloon was launched from the centre of Paris and flew for a period of 20 minutes. The birth of hot air ballooning!!!
